Iš Londono į Berlyną persikėlęs leiblas Blackest Ever Black kovo vidury žada išleisti jau dešimtą (savo sąraše) pilno metro albumą. Tai bus projekto Exploring Jezebel darbas On a Business Trip to London.
Po Exploring Jezebel pavadinimu slepiasi mįslinga ponia Vivid Extreme, dar žinoma kaip Venus International.
Besidomintiems (ne)muzika nėra paslaptis, kad pagrindinis projekto kūrėjas yra Dominick Fernow. Po Blackest Ever Black iškaba jis jau turi tiek singlą (kaip Vatican Shadow), tiek albumą (kaip Prurient). Plius nesuskaičiuoją kiekį leidinių nuosavuose Hospital Productions ir Bed of Nails leibluose. Kiti jo alter ego: Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement, Tortured Hooker, Machinegun Warfare, D Magdalene ir dar krūvelė panašiai baisių pavadinimų.
Kaip žinia, norint patraukliau pateiki industrial/power electronics muziką – geriau, kad įrašą lydėtų „legenda“. Šiuo atveju tai dar paprasčiau. Exploring Jezebel yra Dominick Fernow projektas skirtas S&M tematikai (ne, tai nesusiję su Metallica albumu apie symphony&metal).
Vien gabalų pavadinimai verti atskiro paminėjimo:

Jei iki tol manėt, kad geriausiai pasaulyje yra užvadintas Brighter Death Now gabalas You Got Sperm On Your Jacket (I Know ’cause It’s Mine) – tai dabar turėsit daugiau pasirinkimų. Beje, Exploring Jezebel taip varo pastoviai. Jo(s) sąskaitoje jau yra tokie albumai kaip Penis Torture Chamber (12 valandų trukmės aštuonių kasečių rinkinys) arba Locking Up the Husband’s Penis is not Slavery, but Rather the Greatest Act of Kindness Given to a Man.
Ko gero, jau daugeliui (skaičiusių iki šitos vietos) aišku, kad albumo laukia sold-out’as. Gal net pre-order stadijoje.
Jei kalbėtume apie turinį – albumas startuoja kaip įprasta P.E./industrial plokštelė. Trečiame numeryje Only Carla pašvilpauja kiek stipriau ir atrodytų, kad iš to galėtų išsivystyti kas nors panašaus į Genocide Organ ar bent jau Anenzephalia. Tačiau taip nėra. Viskas atskiedžiama keistais… intarpais ir fragmentais. Kitaip šių interliudijų pavadint nesigauna. Minutę (arba dvi) trunkančios ištraukos yra nenusakomo stiliaus, kaip, beje, ir paskirties. Visas šis kokteilis leidėjų pranešime labai taikliai apibūdinamas kaip:
The result is a perfect and perhaps overdue meeting of emasculated P.E, limp-wristed ornamental industrial, sickly minimal synth and cheap suntanned trollop techno.
Ir tai yra absoliuti tiesa.
Įsivaizduoju, kad kiekvienos iš aukščiau apibūdintų srovių šalininkai reaguos panašiai.

Gotas (darkwave gerbėjas) skųsis: „Yra užuominų, kurios niekaip neišsirutuliuoja“.

Faktas, kad albumas – nevientisas, smarkiai fragmentuotas. Kitų fone – ko gero silpniausias BEB leidinys. Ypač turint omeny, ką sukūrė Raime, Lustmord ar Tropic of Cancer.
Bendras rezultatas: 10 už pateikimą (įskaitant perspėjimus apie N18, religinius, teisinius ir kitus aspektus), 3 už turinį.
